Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Limited (DSCSC) 
PDS involves distribution of essential commodities like wheat & rice through a network of Fair Price Shops on a recurring basis. Corporation has been successfully transporting Specified Food Articles i.e wheat and rice since 1984 from FCI Godowns to Fair Price Shop all over Delhi.
Wheat & Rice are made available to all the Fair Price Shops from 6 FCI Godowns located in Delhi.
In 2001-02, the rationing policy was changed by the Govt. of India and the population was segregated into different categories viz. APL (above poverty line), BPL (below poverty line), AAY (Antyodaya Anna Yojna) & Annapurna Schemes with different rates for wheat & rice.
In 2013, govt. of India changed the rationing policy due to implementation of NFSA in Delhi.
Corporation has been successfully transporting SFA's of Wheat, Rice from the F.C.I. godowns located at Mayapuri , C.T.O. Pusa , Okhla, Ghevra, Narela and Shakti Nagar to the door steps of Fair Price Shopsholders situated in Delhi under NFSA & PMGKAY.
The delivery time of essential commodities from Godown to Fair Price Shops has been allowed within 12 working hours with a view to ensure smooth, timely and uninterrupted supply of food grains.
